ToDoApp is operated by the developer ("we", "us"). For privacy questions contact azghu@hotmail.it.
This policy describes what data ToDoApp collects when you install and use the Android app, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights over it.
Collected: installation ID, device model, OS version, app version, session duration, approximate country (derived from IP).
Why: to understand which features are used and to detect adoption trends. We do not associate analytics data with your account email.
Collected: device identifiers, OS state at the moment of a crash, stack traces, breadcrumbs from app usage shortly before the crash.
Why: to diagnose and fix crashes. Crashlytics data is retained for up to 90 days per Google's defaults.
Collected (only if you create an account): email address, a Firebase-assigned user ID, the contents of your to-do lists and tasks (titles, task text, timestamps, color/icon settings), the IDs of any lists shared with you.
Why: to authenticate you, sync your lists across your devices, and enable real-time collaboration on shared lists. If you use ToDoApp without creating an account ("guest mode"), this data is stored only on your device and is never sent to Firebase.
Collected: Android Advertising ID (AAID), approximate location (derived from IP), coarse demographic categories, ad interaction events (impressions, clicks).
Why: to serve a banner advertisement at the bottom of the screen to free users. You can remove ads permanently via the in-app "Remove ads" purchase (see 3.5). Where required by law (EEA, UK, Switzerland), we request your consent through the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) before any ad request is made.
Collected: purchase tokens, order IDs, the SKU you purchased.
Why: to grant your "Remove ads" entitlement and verify the purchase. We do not see and do not store your card number or any other payment instrument data — that is handled entirely by Google Play.
We share the data above with Google LLC because the SDKs listed in section 3 are operated by Google. We do not share your data with any other third party. We do not sell your data.
If you reside in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar data-protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights:
ToDoApp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your account data is stored in Google Cloud's eur3 (europe-west) region. Some processing (analytics, crash reporting, ad serving) may occur in the United States under Google's Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.
If we change this policy materially, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, surface a notice inside the app the next time you open it.
